APPLICATIONS FOR LEAPS 2026 ARE OPEN.

The deadline for the application is Friday, 6th February 23:59 CET
Letters of recommendation must be submitted by Wednesday, 11th February 23:59 CET

Please follow the instructions carefully to ensure your application is complete:
1. Read our FAQs carefully to ensure that you meet the eligibility requirements: https://leaps.strw.leidenuniv.nl/FAQ.php
2. Complete the details requested on the application form.
3. Upload all the required documents, taking care that they do not exceed the requested length.
4. Request a reference from your referee by selecting "Yes" as the option for the "Send email now" field. After the form is saved, the referee will be emailed, and the field will display the date that the email was sent. Once the letter is uploaded, the field will change again to read "Reference report present". You must request your reference by the application deadline of Friday, 6th February 23:59 CET, but your referee has until Wednesday, 11th February 23:59 CET to upload their reference
5. When you have completed the above steps, press "Submit" to submit your application. You can edit your application any number of times up until the deadline, but be sure to press "Submit" again each time to ensure we receive the most up-to-date version.
